About Top Cleaning GB
Top Cleaning GB is a family-run cleaning company in London, founded by sisters Viktoria Yordanova and Tihomira (Mira) Yordanova and incorporated in 2008. We specialise in end of tenancy cleaning and also provide deep cleaning, after builders cleaning, carpet, upholstery and rug steam cleaning, and domestic and office cleaning. Today we handle around 1,000 bookings a year across all 32 London boroughs.
How we started
We are two sisters, Viktoria Yordanova and Tihomira (Mira) Yordanova. We came from two different professional backgrounds, and Top Cleaning GB grew out of a few cleaning jobs that gradually turned into a business.
Before the company existed, Viktoria was already cleaning for her own private clients. She found the first ones through flyers and local advertising, and recommendations soon brought her more enquiries than she could take on alone.
At the same time, Mira was working in health and safety. Her colleagues saw how often properties were left after building work, moves and office changes and needed a proper clean. They suggested she start a cleaning business, and some of them gave her the first jobs.
Those early jobs brought us together. Customers booked us both, saw how we worked and recommended us for other properties and larger jobs: offices, homes, properties after building work and end of tenancy cleans. As the bookings grew, we registered the company in 2008 and put the foundations of the business in place, including our first website.
Neither of us had built a business before, so the hardest part at the start was learning to run one: finding the right people, deciding who would stay and training them to work the way we did. Today the company has a clear structure, and our regular teams are trained in that same way of working.
What kept us in cleaning was the reaction of customers when they saw the finished property. A flat left after building work, a move or a demanding tenancy could look completely different after a detailed clean. We enjoyed that part: solving problems that were hard to tackle and handing back a property where the customer could see the difference straight away.
From two sisters to a London-wide business
The first jobs led to recommendations, the recommendations led to more properties and a growing team, and end of tenancy cleaning became our main specialism. Today we handle around 1,000 bookings a year across all 32 London boroughs.
The company is very different in size from those first years, but the way we think about the work hasn’t changed. We are still closely involved, still care about the finished result, and still want to know what has been booked, what the property needs and how the work was done. In the early years, we spoke to the customers, organised the bookings and worked in the properties ourselves. That habit of staying personally responsible for the result is still how we run the business.
What we do
End of tenancy cleaning is our main specialism: rental properties at the end of a tenancy that have to be ready for the check-out inspection, handover and the next tenants. Together with deep cleaning and after builders cleaning, it accounts for most of our bookings.
We also provide:

- After builders cleaning after renovation and building work
- Carpet, upholstery and rug steam cleaning
- Domestic cleaning and office cleaning in selected London areas
The right service depends on the property, its condition and what it needs to be ready for, so we often ask for photos or a short video before we quote.
How we work
Before we quote, we find out what is being booked, what the property needs to be ready for and what condition it is in.
On the day, the team walks through the property, where possible with the customer, and takes photos and/or video before any cleaning starts. When the clean is finished, they check every room against the booking and record the property again. Mira reviews the before and after photos and videos, and a job gets an extra internal check when it needs one.
We choose the product for the surface: professional oven cleaners, degreasers and limescale removers where they are needed, gentler eco products for surfaces such as marble and granite, and Prochem and Alltec machines for carpet and upholstery.
Customers should know what they are booking, what is not included as standard and who to call with a question. If a specific area is missed on an end of tenancy clean, our 72-hour re-clean guarantee means we come back. Guarantee terms
Our team
Customers trust our cleaners with their homes, rental properties and workplaces, so we are careful about who joins the team.
Everyone goes through an interview and a check of the necessary documents before they start. Our regular teams work mainly with Top Cleaning GB, and they are trained in our way of working: how to approach each room, how to treat the customer and the property, and how to check their own work. Our most experienced team leads the training of new team members, so the standard is passed on by the people who set it.

Viktoria Yordanova, Co-Founder. Viktoria was cleaning for her own private clients before Top Cleaning GB existed, and that client base was one of the starting points of the business. As the company grew, she took on its financial and organisational side, supporting the structure behind the day-to-day work. She has been part of the business from the beginning.
Tihomira (Mira) Yordanova, Co-Founder and Director. Mira runs Top Cleaning GB day to day. She speaks with customers, organises the bookings, works out what each property needs and deals with issues when they come up. She is closely involved in quality control and reviews the before and after photos and videos the teams record. As the business has grown, she has stayed close to the work itself, including how jobs are approached and how the teams work. She is also sharing more of the people and the work behind the business through videos and live content.
