Domestic cleaning in London
Top Cleaning GB provides regular and one-off domestic cleaning, also called house cleaning, for homes in selected areas of London. Our cleaners work to a checklist agreed with you, and regular customers usually have the same cleaner each visit. Domestic cleaning is charged by the hour, from £24 an hour for a weekly clean, with a 3-hour minimum per visit.
Domestic cleaning is one of our additional services, so it is available in selected areas rather than across all of London: Hampstead, Highgate, St John’s Wood, Chelsea, Kensington, Knightsbridge, Belgravia, Clapham and Canary Wharf, and parts of West, North and Central London. Send us your postcode to check.

How our domestic cleaning service works
1
We agree a checklist. You tell us what matters most, and the cleaner works through the same list on every visit.
2
You choose the day and frequency. Weekly, fortnightly or monthly, on the day that suits you, subject to availability.
3
The same cleaner where possible. Regular customers usually have the same cleaner each time, who gets to know your home.
4
Access. You don’t need to be at home during the cleaning session, and you can leave us a key.

After builders cleaning prices
After builders cleaning starts from £220. The final price depends on the size of the property, how much dust and residue the work left and which areas are included. Photos or a short video help us quote accurately. Parking, the ULEZ charge and the Congestion Charge are added where they apply.
Painted walls and ceilings and specialist mould or rust treatment are not included
Need a more thorough clean first?
If your home hasn’t had a thorough clean for a while, a one-off deep clean is a good starting point before regular cleaning begins. Moving out of a rented flat? See end of tenancy cleaning.
What can a cleaner do in 3 hours?
In a typical 3-hour visit to a one or two-bedroom flat, a cleaner can usually:
- clean the kitchen: worktops, sink, hob, appliance fronts and the floor
- clean the bathroom: toilet, bath or shower, basin, taps, mirrors and the floor
- dust the living room and bedrooms, including surfaces and skirting boards where needed
- empty the bins
- Kitchen and bathroom fittings, sinks, taps, tiles and glass cleaned
Weekly, fortnightly or one-off?
- Weekly keeps the home consistently clean and is the best value per hour.
- Fortnightly suits smaller households, or homes that stay tidy between visits.
- One-off is for a single clean, for example before guests arrive.
Trusting domestic cleaners with your home
We know that letting a cleaner into your home takes trust. Our cleaners go through an interview and document checks before they start, and they are trained to our standards. You can leave a key with us and be out while the cleaner works.
How to get the most from your cleaner
In a typical 3-hour visit to a one or two-bedroom flat, a cleaner can usually:
- Agree a clear checklist and tell us if your priorities change.
- Keep the products and equipment the cleaner needs in one place.
- Tidy away clutter before the visit, so the time goes on cleaning rather than tidying.
Frequently asked questions
From £89 for a room in a flatshare and from £210 for an unfurnished 1-bed flat with one bathroom. The final price depends on the size and condition of the property and whether it is furnished. Send us a few photos and we’ll give you an accurate quote.
Yes, and some tenants do. The areas that most often cause problems are the oven, limescale in the bathroom, the inside of cupboards and appliances, and skirting boards. If you are short of time or the property needs more than a regular clean, that is where a professional clean helps. Can I do end of tenancy cleaning myself?
Tell us the size of the property and, if you can, send a few photos or a short video. It lets us see the real condition and price the job accurately.
